This week we thought it’d be fun to share some of our favorite VFX breakdowns from over the years.
Framestore is an studio working across film, advertising, television and immersive. The studio has a total of 3000 talented artists and producers in offices across the globe. And here you can take a look at the work they did on Avengers: Infinity War. They completed over 250 shots for the opening act of the movie.
Weta Digital is an FX studio based in Wellington, New Zealand. In this VFX Breakdown of the final chapter in the Hobbit trilogy, they will take you through digital characters, complex destruction and fluid simulations, sprawling battle sequences and much more!
Rodeo FX is a VFX studio with teams in Montreal, Quebec City, Munich and Los Angeles. In this reel, they will show us their amazing VFX work created for Game of Thrones. They have completed nearly 200 visual effects shots for Season 5, for which secured an Emmy Award for the studio.

MPC – Moving Picture Company is a global creative studio. MPC was the lead VFX studio on Ridley Scott’s The Martian, delivering 425 shots. Check it out!
