Rebelway is looking for a 3D/VFX instructor to help us create compelling VFX courses.
Job Type: Short-Term Contract Project
Are you passionate about VFX and education? Does the thought of inspiring the next generation of FX artists sound exciting to you? Are you an experienced CG artist with mountains of knowledge to share? If so, Rebelway is looking for a motivated 3D artist to help us create compelling online VFX courses.
Essential Job Duties:
- Create and record compelling course content.
- Outline, script, and prepare lessons based on industry-standard VFX pipelines.
- Give feedback to editors & content producers
- Collaborate with marketing team to create effective sales content.
- Develop public-facing tutorials to help spread the word about your course
Skills/Requirements:
- A generalist with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in 3D modeling, animation, lighting, texturing, UVs and basic character rigging.
- Proficiency in Maya or equivalent 3D Software.
- Proficiency in Nuke.
- Solid background in visual effects with experience in the Film, Game cinematic and or commercial.
- Experience with teaching visual effects.
- Must be self-motivated and interested in teaching and sharing knowledge.
Bonus Skills:
- Solid background in 2d Art, composition, cinematography, lighting, etc…
- Basic understanding of Houdini and FX workflows.
